What We Are About
The Prince George's Tennis and Education
Foundation (PGTEF) was founded in 1993
with the goal of providing our youth the
opportunity to excel academically,
athletically, and socially thru the sport of
tennis. This dedication is exemplified by
our motto of the four C(s):
1. Confidence
2. Consistency
3. Control
4. Commitment
Our goal is to foster a great learning
environment for tennis and also for life
lessons built on good self-esteem, academic
excellence, and social responsibilty.

I understand that smoking and using
drugs or alcohol is bad for my body. I
believe that tennis is a better and
healthier activity. When playing tennis,
going to school, or participating in other
positive activities I will do my best to:
Be consistent in my work ethic
Be confident in my ability
Control my attitude
Be committed to excellence
